THEY’RE COMFY CLIP-Ons!
We make the most comfy coil backed clip-on earrings that you can wear all day. They don’t pinch, they don’t randomly fall off, and they are a little bit different from the usual clip-ons you might find.
Coil back clip-on earrings
These have a type of clip-on back that is commonly found in China, Korea and Japan, known as mosquito coil, because it looks like a type of mosquito repellant incense that’s coiled into a spiral. These are made of strong and flexible gold plated copper wire with a silicone pad, and can be infinitely adjusted to fit perfectly to your ear lobe, without pain or discomfort. This style of clip on is perfect if you have sensitive ears, very thin or very thick lobes, or you just don’t get on with spring back, screw back, or plastic clips.
Handmade in England.

Who are pinch no more?
It’s me! I started wearing clip on earrings after my ear piercings healed (on one side only!) and were too painful to re-pierce. I still wanted to brighten up my day with something unexpected and fun on my ears, so I started trying out clip ons. They either hurt like the dickens and fell off never to be seen again, or they were a bit dull.
I gave up for a couple of years, but one day, whilst idly searching for clip on earrings online, I saw these strange coil backed contraptions. I ordered a pair. They were amazing, they stayed on my ears and didn't hurt! I looked for more, but I wasn't finding many styles that spoke to me; lots of pearls, fake diamonds, and lots of people selling earrings they’d bought in bulk from cheap online marketplaces and claiming they were handmade. Very little Pac Man, hidden cats or jelly babies. So I got the supplies together and started making my own. I then started making them for my sister. I was soon making too many to keep, and so Pinch No More was born.
The earrings are made by me using charms and findings sourced from various places: some are second hand or vintage charms from markets, charity shops and boot sales, reimagined into something new. Some are handmade from polymer clay. Some are made from charms I've purchased. You could find anything here. I don't currently do commissions but I do take requests and suggestions, so if you want to see something specific drop me a line and I'll see if I can do it!
